Biologix 1X MES-SDS Electrophoresis Buffer is a ready-to-use running buffer designed for denaturing protein electrophoresis using Bis-Tris polyacrylamide gels. It is particularly suitable for the separation of low- and medium-molecular-weight proteins.
MES is a zwitterionic Good’s buffer that provides stable buffering performance during electrophoresis, while SDS denatures proteins and supports separation primarily according to molecular weight.
