10X Western Blot Transfer Buffer
Biologix 10X Western Blot Transfer Buffer is a concentrated Tris-glycine solution designed for the transfer of proteins from polyacrylamide gels to membranes during Western blotting workflows. Once transferred, proteins can be detected using antigen-antibody binding for semi-quantitative analysis.
The ready-prepared concentrate reduces buffer preparation time and helps minimise dilution and formulation errors.

Preparation Instructions
- To prepare 1 L of 1X transfer buffer:
- Measure 100 mL of 10X Transfer Buffer.
- Add 200 mL of anhydrous methanol and mix thoroughly.
- Add distilled or deionised water to a final volume of 1 L.
- Mix well before use.
Composition
Contains 250 mM Tris and 1.92 M glycine.
Final pH after dilution to 1X: 8.3 ± 0.1.
