LB Broth Powder 250g/bottle

Biologix LB Broth is a dehydrated culture medium formulated for the routine cultivation and maintenance of bacteria, particularly Escherichia coli (E. coli) for molecular biology applications. Supplied as a convenient 250 g dry powder, it provides reliable, consistent performance for bacterial growth and is easy to prepare in the laboratory.

Preparation Instructions

1. Dissolve 25 g of powder in 1 L of distilled or deionised water.
2. Heat with stirring until completely dissolved.
3. Dispense into appropriate culture vessels, such as test tubes or flasks.
4. Sterilise by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes before use.
