Ready-to-Use Sterile LB Broth

This ready-to-use sterile LB broth is designed for the cultivation and maintenance of Escherichia coli and other commonly cultured bacteria. The medium can be used immediately after opening, eliminating the need for weighing, mixing, sterilising or cleaning.

Tryptone and yeast extract provide essential carbon, nitrogen, vitamins and minerals to support bacterial growth, while sodium chloride helps maintain osmotic balance.

Composition per Litre

Contains 10.0 g tryptone, 10.0 g sodium chloride and 5.0 g yeast extract.

Final pH at 25°C: 7.2 ± 0.2.
