HEPES Buffer Solution (1 M, pH 7.3) is a sterile, ready-to-use zwitterionic buffer designed to provide stable pH control for cell culture and other sensitive biological applications. With an effective buffering range of pH 6.8–8.2, HEPES maintains consistent pH independently of CO₂ concentration, making it ideal for open culture systems, prolonged cell observation, and applications outside a CO₂ incubator. Chemically and enzymatically stable, it has minimal effects on cellular processes and is supplied filter sterilised for immediate use, with no additional sterilisation required.
