Biologix Lysozyme Buffer (1×) is a sterile, ready-to-use buffer formulated for the preparation, dilution, and storage of lysozyme solutions used in bacterial cell lysis. Filter sterilised through a 0.1 μm filter and certified DNase-, RNase-, protease-, and pyrogen-free, it provides a reliable environment for efficient lysis of Gram-positive bacteria while supporting the disruption of Gram-negative bacteria. The buffer contains 20 mM Tris, 2 mM EDTA, and 1.2% Triton™ X-100 (pH 8.0) and is supplied without lysozyme.
