LB Broth (Lennox) Powder 250g/bottle

LB Broth (Lennox, Low-Salt) is a dehydrated culture medium formulated for the cultivation and maintenance of bacteria, particularly Escherichia coli (E. coli) used in molecular biology applications. Its reduced sodium chloride content makes it ideal for experiments sensitive to salt concentration or requiring controlled pH conditions. Supplied as a convenient dry powder, the medium is easy to prepare and delivers reliable, reproducible bacterial growth.

Preparation Instructions

1. Dissolve 25 g of powder in 1 L of distilled or deionised water.
2. Heat with stirring until the medium is completely dissolved.
3. Dispense into suitable culture vessels, such as flasks or tubes.
4. Sterilise by autoclaving at 121°C for 20 minutes before use.
